There is a small town in Ontario that I frequent from time to time.  Dain City.  Had some French Toast there once.  This is the story of that French Toast.

Here is what you need to make these sick French  Toasts.

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • a few tablespoons of cinnamon
  • an awesome stick of bread that is about 2 days old (mine was courtesy of Lucas at Spinosa’s for the Spinosa Stick)
  • tiny whisk
  • bowl
  • frying pan
  • maybe some things i forgot but will remember as we go on….

Lay it out all nice on a cutting board and admire it. Maybe take a selfie with the ingredients and post them in the comments.

Crack the eggs into a bowl. No matter how hard I try I can’t seem to crack a perfect set of eggs.

Toss in the milk and cinnamon.   Mix them up with the tiny whisk.

Heat up your frying pan. I use this cool one with grooves so it makes it look like you cooked the French Toast on a grill.

Toss the bread circles into the egg/cinnamon/milk mix – oh! and half a teaspoon of Vanilla! See I told you I would remember something!

Let them soak and absorb the delicious raw egg and milky goodness. Flip and repeat soaking.

Throw as many on the pan as you can fit.  Flip after a minute or two. Want to make sure they are not eggy. Notice the grill marks lol.

Pour yourself a nice glass of syrup and enjoy your Spinosa Stick French Toasts 🙂

These tasted great and were incredibly easy to make. Takes about 10  minutes.   Pass this on to your friends!
