I had the pleasure of taking a Wine Tour in Niagara a little while ago. Was done through the Niagara Vintage Wine Tours company. Great guide, very informative.
We started off at a winery in Niagara on the Lake called Konzelmann Estate Winery. Very nice winery. Quite a bit of history.
Once we finished there it was time to get some food. Holy. Ended up at the Charles Inn in NOTL. Wow. Great food. The Mac & Cheese was to die for!
Now that our bellies were full it was time for more wine. Off to another winery. Trius Winery at Hillebrand.
Next stop, Pondview.
Did some cheese/meat pairings here. Awesome.
Last stop of the day was at Southbrook. They have sheep here. Really they do. The sheep help fertilize the soil.
Had a great experience with Niagara Vintage Wine Tours. I plan on taking another tour before the summer is over! Keep an eye out.
