This past Friday my buddy Frank had a special live to air sold out cd release party at Sessions on the River in Fort Erie hosted by BS Live.
Was a pretty sweet night. Never been to a performance in a studio let alone one being streamed globally. Frank was joined by Filet of Soul (Frank Crytes, Johnny Biller and Randy Bishop) to rock this session.
Sometimes in my line of work I meet some great people doing some unique things.
This day was no exception. I was contacted by Niagara Vintage Wine Tours to be a secret photographer on a secret marriage proposal shoot. The bride to be had no idea!
The location for today’s secret proposal? The wine cellars at Peller Estates Winery.
When I was asked to join some friends for lunch at Paradiso today, I could not say no.
My wife accidentally ended up there when getting lost going to a funeral with her father. Since then they go back from time to time because they love the food and atmosphere. I have always been secretly jealous that I have never been invited. So when the opportunity arose, I jumped all over it!
This past Friday I went to the It’s All Welland Good event, in where else but, Welland.
It was an event to celebrate Welland’s tremendous potential and review past successes.
Yes, sadly, lol, this is what i sing in my head every time I visit this place.

I got my wife a stereo for her car. Gave my buddy Larry a call at Base Electronics and he had me in a few days later. The car needed a special bracket otherwise I’m sure it wouldn’t have taken as long to get in.
In honor of Octoberfest I thought I would start a bit early and grill up some sausages from my amazing, local butcher. They make the best sausage and while in there today saw they had some Octoberfest links. Pairing this with a sweet French loaf from Spinoza’s Bakery in Welland this made for a great meal.
